Retrieve a backup copy

The procedure to follow depends on the location where you save your data.

ATTENTION! At the time of the retrieval, all your current data will be lost and replaced by the data contained in the retrieved backup copy.
  1. Copies made in Backup file (by default)
    1. Go in the top menu, File, Backup copy, tab Retrieve
    2. Ensure that the access path displayed corresponds to C: /Documents and Settings/xxxxx/My Documents/Proprio Expert/Backup
    3. Select the most recent file with the extension *.bak
    4. Click on Retrieve
    5. Click Yes to close Real Estate Manager and to open it again
  2. Copy on CD or a USB key

    1. Go in the top menu, File, Backup copy, tab Retrieve
    2. Click on the small yellow files at the end of the box File Name
    3. Click on My Computer and select the disc and the file containing your backup copy. This file must bear the extension *.bak. If the format is *.zip, first extract the file *.bak
    4. Click on the Retrieve Copy button
    5. Click Yes to close Real Estate Manager and open it again
  3. Data transferred to Magex

    1. Contact the Customer service at 1-866-886-2439 or email info to obtain the file's name to be retrieved
    2. Go in the top menu, Help, Retrieve Magex data
    3. Record the file name given to you by the Customer service
    4. Click on Receive
    5. Click Yes to close Real Estate Manager and to open it again
