At the time of sending notices, note that it's not all the tenants who must receive a renewal notice. Example: a rental unit's tenant whose lease ends in June should not receive a renewal notice at the same time that a lease ending in December.
The Automatic Selection selects for you the tenants meeting the previously mentioned criteria. - Choose for example ' Renewal Notice ' in the letter models
- tab Mailing List
- Notice section ' Automatic selection ' to the right of your screen
- Choose the dates between which you want the lease end to be included. (Example: Expiry date between June 28, 2009 and July 1, 2009 means that all tenants with a lease ending between these dates will be selected.
- Check the tenants' lease term that you wish to select.
Example: By checking “12 months and +”, all tenants with a 12-month + lease and for whom the lease ends between the previously chosen dates will be selected. - Check the type of Rent Variation for Tenants that you wish to select.
Example: By checking “In increase”, all tenants with a rent increase and meeting the above criteria will be selected. - Click on the Select button to view tenants meeting the criteria and being selected automatically in the left list.
